If you can go to Leicester Square or Canary Wharf at about 10 clock on the day of the event, you can get tickets 1 / 2 price for the TKTS booth without booking fee.
I use it all the time, you can buy online, but worth the seats and the price is getting up early!
When you get in there, go to the theater no booking fee, and you'll be surprised how often they are selling and cancellations.
Find where it is made, and book directly with the site.
